Essay Question:
Patriotism, the honor of America’s fallen service members, and the lasting memorialization of their sacrifices are pillars of our national identity. Reflect on the significance of these values in shaping the collective memory of the United States. How can we continue to honor the sacrifice of those who have served in defense of our country? In your essay, discuss the role of patriotic duty, national memorials, and ongoing efforts to preserve their legacy. Consider the impact of these honors on future generations and the ways in which we, as a nation, can ensure their sacrifices are remembered and celebrated for years to come.
Your response should be between 500 and 1000 words, written in either standard MLA or APA format.
